We’re delighted to once again be supporting the 2019 Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival by hosting two walks on the farm.

These walks are a unique opportunity for visitors to discover more about what we do at Grimblethorpe & to explore our private farmland.

On Monday May 27th Andy will be leading a Rare Breeds Farm Walk. Visitors will meet some of our rare breed cattle, pigs & sheep as well as learning the importance of our organic grass pastures and the individual environment of the chalk stream valley & woodland.
Andy is a passionate advocate for an ethical, compassionate, pasture for life approach to rare breed livestock farming and will show you behind the scenes of a busy family farm and will answer all your questions. Hopefully there will also be a chance to sample & purchase our unique, farm produced sausages, burgers & meats.
Starting at 10am this walk will be around 2hrs long, taking in some of the un-made (muddy!) paths across the farm.
Places must be pre-booked & you can book your places on this walk by emailing enquiries@grimblethorpehall.co.uk or complete our contact form here

On Tuesday 28th May we’ll be hosting a PhotoWalk led by local photographer & teacher Adam Winfield. Suitable for all levels, novice to enthusiast, participants will discover our beautiful, private corner of the Lincolnshire Wolds through their cameras.
There’s so much to photograph as you walk from pasture to woodland, past the lake and along our chalk stream - landscape, wildlife, flora & of course our resident rare breeds!
Adam will be on hand to provide lots of advice tips & tricks to ensure you’ll learn something new, take great photos & have fun. Again starting at 10am the PhotoWalk will explore the paths, pastures and tracks of the farm.
Places must be pre-booked at www.lincolnshirephototraining.co.uk/photowalksdetail

Both walks offer a great chance to find out more about our beautiful organic farm, to meet our rare breeds and see what we do. Unfortunately walks are not suitable for dogs but accompanied children are very welcome.

On both walks we’ll be accepting donations towards the Walking Festival & St Peter's Church, Gayton le Wold (see here)
